Marius Griškonis is a partner in Project Finance Practice of White & Case LLP, a global law firm with lawyers in 38 offices across 26 countries. Prior to being promoted to partner (effective January 1, 2013), Mr. Griškonis worked eight years as an associate at White & Case LLP, in New York. Mr. Griškonis is qualified to practice law in New York and Lithuania and focuses on international and U.S. domestic corporate and financing transactions, with an emphasis on project and asset-based financing. He represents sponsors and lenders in transactions in the power, renewables, oil and gas, transportation and telecommunications sectors in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining White & Case in 2004, Mr. Griskonis spent three years as an associate at a Baltic law firm LAWIN working on corporate and financing transactions. Additionally, he spent three years in various Hansabank (now Swedbank) investment and commercial banking subsidiaries working as General Counsel and Legal Counsel. Furthermore, he had an internship with Credit Suisse in New York in its Legal Department.
Mr. Griškonis has a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Iowa, College of Law (Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship) and a Diploma of Qualified Lawyer from the University of Vilnius, Faculty of Law.
